Efter valget blev parti nummer 16 i Knesset dannet, da 2 medlemmer af Yisrael Ba'Aliyah brød ud af partiet og dannede partiet Machar (Tomorrow), der senere blev omdøbt til Democratic Choise. Senere er der sket flere ændringer som det fremgår herunder.
Hovedtendenser ved valget
Fordelingen mellem de store grupper i Knesset blev i hovedtræk følgende:

Venstrefløjen: 38,
Religiøse partier: 27,
Overvejende arabiske partier: 10.
